China CCTV Interview: US China Trade War

It is ironic for the United States to pursue protectionism and stir up economic friction since it had long championed for globalization and free market practices in the past, said an Indonesian scholar on international issues. Christine Susanna Tjhin, senior researcher at the Department of International Relations, Centre for Strategic and International Studies in Indonesia, made the remark while commenting on the ongoing trade friction between China and the U.S. during an interview with China Central Television (CCTV) recently.
